Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using nyx (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

nyx is an AI-powered chat platform that allows users to interact with AI-generated influencer personas. The personas are fictional characters; any resemblance to real persons is coincidental. Conversations are AI-generated and do not represent the views of real individuals.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You may not share your account or allow others to access it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Free Tier and Subscriptions

New users receive 10 free messages. Continued use requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Transmit harmful, abusive, or harassing content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
  • Misrepresent the AI nature of the personas to third parties

7. AI-Generated Content

All messages from influencer personas are AI-generated. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI responses. Do not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nyx is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany.
